I Beca de Investigación Asociación «Luigi Boccherini»

La 𝗔𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝗴𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶 promueve la 𝗜 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝗴𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶 destinada a fomentar el trabajo académico en torno al músico 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝗴𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶.

Resolución I Beca de Investigación Musical Luigi Boccherini

La I Beca de Investigación Luigi Boccherini está destinada a fomentar el trabajo académico en torno al músico Luigi Boccherini. Para ello, se llama a la recepción de candidaturas según las siguientes bases: 

  • Esta beca tiene una dotación económica de 6.000€, dentro de los cuales se incluyen los costes de publicación en abierto en una revista o editorial de alto impacto (si procede). 
  • La temática del proyecto becado versará acerca de Luigi Boccherini, comprendido desde un punto de vista amplio: su figura, su legado musical e interpretativo, el entorno creativo en su época (agentes, espacios, dinámicas, etc.). 
  • La participación está abierta a estudiantes e investigadores de todo el mundo y en diversos estadíos de su carrera. 
  • Podrán presentarse proyectos de investigación relacionados con tesis doctorales, trabajos finales de máster o de posgrado o con cualquier investigación vinculada o no a una universidad o centro de investigación. Serán rechazadas las propuestas de investigaciones ya finalizadas y/o publicadas. 
  • El objetivo final de la beca es fomentar la publicación en una revista o editorial de impacto. Por tanto, una vez entregado el trabajo objeto de la beca, la comisión valorará y guiará a la persona becada en el proceso de publicación. 

Las candidaturas deberán enviarse al correo electrónico del servicio de becas de la Asociación Luigi Boccherini (beca@luigiboccherini.es) con la siguiente documentación:

  • Carta de motivación, con una extensión máxima de 1 página. 
  • CV del candidato, con una extensión máxima de 4 páginas. Podrá emplearse el formato del Currículum Vitae Abreviado (CVA) de la Agencia Estatal de Investigación. Se deberá incluir, si procede, la información referente a los códigos de investigador (ORCID, etc.), afiliación institucional y situación laboral actual. 
  • Proyecto de investigación que se desea desarrollar, con una extensión máxima de 4 páginas. Este proyecto deberá incluir la siguiente información: título, justificación del tema, estado de la cuestión, objetivos, fuentes y metodología, planificación temporal, referencias bibliográficas y previsión de ejecución del presupuesto (incluyendo posibles gastos de publicación). 
  • Copia del Documento Nacional de Identidad o Pasaporte. 

Todos los documentos deberán estar escritos con una fuente de tamaño mínimo de 11 puntos y márgenes estandarizados. 

Planificación temporal 

  • Periodo de presentación de los proyectos: 10 de julio al 30 de septiembre de 2025 (hasta las 23:59h). 
  • Resolución de la comisión de selección calificadora: antes del 1 de diciembre de 2025. 
  • Entrega del trabajo final de la investigación a la Asociación: antes del 1 de noviembre de 2026. 
  • Envío del trabajo a la revista o editorial elegida: antes de que finalice el año 2026. 

Esta beca tiene carácter bianual y cuenta con el apoyo adicional de la Sociedad de Artistas Intérpretes o Ejecutantes de España (www.aie.es).

El pago del premio se realizará en dos tramos:

  • el primero, de 3.000€, antes del 31 de diciembre de 2025 y
  • el segundo tras la entrega del trabajo por parte del becado. 

Obligaciones del Becado 

  • El trabajo resultante de la beca hará mención expresa a la financiación proporcionada por la Beca de Investigación Luigi Boccherini y por la Sociedad de Artistas Intérpretes o Ejecutantes de España. 
  • El becado deberá figurar como primer autor en el orden de creadores. En el caso de trabajos de grado/postgrado, podrá incluir a su tutor si se estima oportuno. El envío del trabajo conlleva la declaración del consentimiento por parte de todos los autores. 
  • El becado se compromete a enviar a la Asociación el trabajo resultante de la investigación financiada antes de la fecha estipulada en el calendario, y a enviar el trabajo a la revista o editorial elegida antes de que finalice el año 2026, una vez recibida la aprobación de la Asociación. 
  • Si la publicación resulta rechazada por la revista o editorial elegida en primera instancia, el candidato se compromete a reintentarlo al menos otras dos veces más en otras editoriales o revistas de impacto, siempre con el visto bueno de la Asociación. 

Política de protección de datos 

La finalidad del tratamiento de los datos personales proporcionados con las solicitudes es únicamente gestionar las becas de la Asociación Luigi Boccherini. Los datos se conservarán durante el tiempo necesario para cumplir con la finalidad para la que se recabaron y para determinar las posibles responsabilidades que se pudieran derivar de dicha finalidad y del tratamiento de los datos. Se conservarán, con carácter indefinido, los documentos que contengan los datos personales necesarios para acreditar el periodo de disfrute de la ayuda. 

Este documento está redactado contemplando el uso de términos que pretenden incluir a todos los géneros o personas, sin especificarlos explícitamente. 

I «Luigi Boccherini» Association Research Scholarship

The I Beca de Investigación Luigi Boccherini is a research scholarship intended to promote academic work focused on the musician Luigi Boccherini. Applications are welcome under the following terms:

  • The scholarship provides a financial award of €6,000, which includes potential open-access publication costs in a high-impact journal or publisher (if applicable). 
  • The topic of the funded project must revolve around Luigi Boccherini, broadly understood: his life, his musical and interpretative legacy, and the creative environment of his time (including agents, spaces, dynamics, etc.). 
  • The call is open to students and researchers worldwide, at various stages of their careers. 
  • Eligible projects may be related to PhD dissertations, master’s theses, graduate work, or independent investigations linked or not to a university or research center. Completed or previously published work will not be accepted. 
  • The main goal of the scholarship is to support publication in a high-impact journal or publishing house. Once the funded research is submitted, the committee will advise and assist the recipient in the publication process. 

Applications must be sent via e-mail to the Luigi Boccherini Association’s Scholarship Service: beca@luigiboccherini.es, along with the following documents: 

  • Motivation letter, maximum length: 1 page. 
  • CV, maximum length: 4 pages. The Abbreviated CV format (CVA) of the Spanish State Research Agency may be used. Researcher codes (e.g., ORCID), institutional affiliation, and current employment status should be included, if applicable. 
  • Research project proposal, maximum length: 4 pages, including at least: Title, Justification of the topic, State of the art, Objectives, Sources and methodology, Timeline, Bibliography, Budget breakdown (including any expected publishing expenses) 
  • Copy of National ID or Passport. 

All documents must use a minimum font size of 11 points and standard margins. 

Key Dates 

  • Application period: 10 July to 30 September 2025 (until 23:59 h). 
  • Decision announcement: Before 1 December 2025. 
  • Submission of final research work to the Association: By 1 November 2026. 
  • Submission to the chosen journal or publisher: Before the end of 2026. 

This is a biennial scholarship, supported by the Spanish Society of Performers Artists (www.aie.es).

The award will be paid in two installments:

  • The first €3,000 by 31 December 2025;
  • The second after the submission of the final research project. 

Obligations of the Awardee 

  • The article resulting from the grant must explicitly mention the funding provided by the Luigi Boccherini Association Research Scholarship and by the Spanish Society of Performers Artists. 
  • The recipient of the scholarship must appear as the first author in the list of contributors. In the case of undergraduate or postgraduate theses, the author agrees to include their supervisor if deemed appropriate. Submission of the work implies that all authors have given their consent. 
  • The awardee commits to submitting the research work funded by the scholarship to the Association before the date specified in the schedule. Likewise, submission to the selected journal or publisher must be made before the end of 2026, once the approval of the Association has been received. 
  • If the publication is rejected by the journal or publisher chosen in the first instance, the candidate agrees to retry at least two more times in other publishers or journals of impact, always with the approval of the Association. 

Data Protection Policy 

The purpose of processing the personal data provided with the applications is solely to manage the Luigi Boccherini Association’s scholarships. The data will be stored for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to determine any potential responsibilities that may arise from that purpose and the processing of the data. Documents containing the personal data necessary to verify the scholarship period will be stored indefinitely.
